Generosity That Transforms

George Bullard has been a successful IBM executive in Las Colinas for more than 35 years. But his professional accomplishments, independence and success couldn’t satisfy the growing void in his life left after the death of his father and his disconnection from the church. A few years ago George started coming to Milestone every Saturday and gave his life to Christ in one of our services.

George began to re-discover his purpose and found himself starting to understand the power that generosity has to transform lives, his own included. He shares about that journey in this video.

George’s story is a powerful reminder that giving is an act of worship to the God who gave everything for us. Learning how to handle our resources God’s way is a huge part of growing spiritually. He’s the owner and we are His stewards. He gave to us so that we we can give to others. We serve an incredibly generous God and when we give out of our joy we become more like Him.

“He’s the owner and we are His stewards. He gave to us so that we can give to others.” These two sentences are the heartbeat of generosity. Way to go George!
