The Top 5 Most-Read Stories of 2016

We love sharing stories of life change on Milestone Life. There are so many stories that we simply can’t  come close to sharing them all in our weekend services. This blog provides us a space where we can celebrate together as a church family all the great things God’s doing in our church.

We’re an everyone church…and this is an everyone blog. Each of us can have a story to tell about God’s activity in our lives. We’ve looked over the last year of stories, and these, in particular, have resonated with you.

Here they are…simply click the title or picture to read the story.

The Top 5 Most-Read Stories of 2016

5. How Rich We Are

Thankfulness transcends the status of our bank accounts or how difficult our circumstances may seem. “Memaw” inspires us to shift our perspective.

4. Three Reasons I’m Proud to be Old School

Pastor Jeff Little reminds us that there are timeless truths that stand in the midst of rapidly changing culture. We need to hold tightly to them.

3. Nothing Else Worked

An 18-year-old struggling with depression and anxiety is at the end of her rope, but God hasn’t given up on her. Taylor encourages us with the hope that when all seems to be failing, Jesus still pursues us.

2.The First Student We Ever Reached

Luke grew up in a dysfunctional home where alcohol and drugs were the norm. He was also the first student that Milestone’s student ministry reached. His story of transformation compels us to keep investing in the next generation one student at a time.

1. Uncommon Gratitude

Every parent’s nightmare is to lose a child. To lose a child and a husband within a short time seems almost unbearable. Yet Terri was able to keep going when she began to understand the difference in two simple words and how they relate to gratitude. Her discovery can help us when life is full of pain.

Looking Forward to 2017

Let each of these stories be a milestone marker of God’s faithfulness towards us. We are looking forward to 2017 and another year of God doing awesome things in our lives. We can’t wait to share more stories as God uses each of us to reach people and build lives!
