“I don’t know anything about the Bible. I’ve never read it. I don’t think I can do this.”
Leslie sat at her computer and typed the words to a friend who had invited her to join a small group. Small group? She’d never even heard the term before. She thought it might be a group of women just getting together and gossiping…maybe like a book club. She initially agreed to join.
But when she saw the email subject line: Bible Study she started having second thoughts.
“…I don’t think I can do this.”

We don’t have to be Bible scholars or experts to join in what God’s doing. It just takes one step, even if you’re not sure how. Like so many others, Leslie took that step and God met her right where she was. The local church, spiritual family–it’s not about having all the right answers or perfection. It’s about trusting that as we take a step toward God, He’ll meet us halfway and do something we could never imagine.
