Is Someone Ever Unreachable?

When we find something we love, like the best restaurant in town or the best vacationing spot, we can’t help but share it with others. In many ways, inviting people to church works just the same way; once you step into the environment, you want your family, friends, and neighbors to come along with you.  But sometimes inviting them to come to church with us requires persistence and patience. Maybe you’ve asked time and time again, and keep getting the…

Changing the Conversation

Communication can be a challenging struggle in any relationship. Being open, honest, and vulnerable is hard work, but that hard work is worth it. The good news is, there’s hope to be found in this area. Sarah and Travis Titterington’s story reminded us of that hope, and we wanted to share it with you.  After committing themselves to walk through the Freedom process, Sarah and Travis experienced a major breakthrough in their marriage, and their family will never look the same. Morgan and Bailey Ryan Are in the Game

We believe in empowering the next generation. It’s not hype or a mission statement—it’s at the core of who we are at Milestone Church. The process may look different for each student, but we believe they all have the opportunity to reach all that God has for them. Jay’s Family Vision

Water baptisms are one of our favorite celebrations here at Milestone. Nearly 70 people from all different generations and different backgrounds took this step of faith last weekend. If you were with us this weekend, you saw Jay’s video. There are elements of the story…

But sometimes we struggle with knowing what that practically looks like. This week we heard a great story of a group of guys who lived out this vision by simply taking a next step. Back in April, a men’s Small Group leader had been reminding his group that each member…

Back to School: Mrs. Mitchell’s Story

It’s officially backpack, pencil bag, and lunch box season—school is back in session! This past weekend, Pastor Jeff honored our teachers and school administrators with prayer, a word of encouragement, and a gift. We celebrate the commitment teachers and administrators make in developing and enriching the lives of their students and fellow teachers. We want to say a huge THANK YOU for all they do in helping our next generation grow. Emily Mitchell taught 3rd and 4th grade for nine…

Who’s in Our Backyard?

“How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring the good news!” – Romans 10:15b It can be overwhelming when we watch the news or scroll through social media and see the difficulties people face in other countries. Many are forced to flee their countries for fear of their lives. Often we’re just unsure of how we can help…but did you know that many of these refugees live right here in our community?  For over four years, teams of local…
