God can use any situation to show you who He is, what He does, and to bring you closer to Himself. It doesn’t always take a major, life-threatening accident, but that’s exactly what brought Tahmra and Bobby into a deeper relationship with God and His people. And through that accident, God changed their lives forever.
“The motorcycle accident changed pretty much everything for us.
It started out as a pretty typical day in 2018 with my fiance, Tahmra. We were both comfortable riding the bike, but we hit a turn (that’s known for losing motorcycles), and I lost all steering control.
Next thing I knew, Tahmra was on the ground, fading in and out of consciousness, and I was in a patch of brush, pushed right up against a fence.
We were in rough shape.
Both of us had major injuries – some were life-threatening. But God pulled us through…even though we hadn’t yet fully devoted our lives to Him individually or as a couple.
It was a miracle that we made it out alive.
We had been coming to Milestone Church together one or two weekends a month before the accident. But, once we saw how much God brought us through and how gracious He was to let us live, we knew we needed to make a change.
We decided to make it a priority to get involved in church.
Since then, we’ve gotten involved in Small Groups with people who are now our spiritual family. And together, now as husband and wife, we’ve decided to build a foundation on Jesus – a foundation that will last.
Less than a year after our accident, we couldn’t be happier in our marriage, in our church family, and in our lives as a whole.”

February 28, 2020 at 12:44 pmBobby & Tahmra, this is my favorite line in our story: “God can use any situation to show you who He is, what He does, and to bring you closer to Himself.” Way to stay focused and faithful!
