While it’s hard to believe, half of the year is already over, and we are in awe of how God has been moving in our midst.
Right now, we’re taking a moment to pause, reflect, and express gratitude to God for all He has been doing. We always believe that He’ll show up, yet it never gets old hearing the stories of impact in people’s lives.
Here’s a glimpse into how God’s been moving just from the start of the summer alone!
FORTY5 CAMP
Our 2nd annual Forty5 Camp could not have been better! Taking 4th-5th graders to camp is always a fun experience with competitions, games, and Small Groups. But they also get to engage in powerful worship alongside their peers and listen to messages that teach them how to grow in their walk with God.
We are incredibly grateful for the volunteers who gave up their time and energy to invest in the students. This generosity allowed 338 students to attend and resulted in 23 giving their lives to Jesus.
MIDDLE SCHOOL CAMP
This camp is filled with unforgettable moments for 6th-8th graders who attend. This year, almost 700 students attended Middle School Camp, and 58 went all in with Jesus.
It’s camps like these that will never be absent from students’ memories. Every message, song, and Small Group discussion is crafted with intentionality and a desire for students to experience God at a greater level.
We hope that these camps are formative in their relationship with God, that they begin to hear His voice, find good friends, and receive proximity to leaders who love and care about their future.
VBS
We certainly can’t forget to mention VBS! These 3 days are a high-energy, fun-filled experience where all elementary-aged kids gather to worship Jesus, hear life-giving messages that help them in their walk with Jesus and others, and play games with their friends.
VBS is a highly anticipated event for families because of what their child learns and how they grow spiritually. We’re excited about the 108 children who raised their hands to receive salvation—nothing gets better than this!
PERU MISSION TRIP
Lastly, our Missions team took a group of 57 people and traveled to Peru for a week to serve hundreds of people through medical, ministry, and construction teams.
Our teams treated 858 patients seeking dental or medical care, and 95 people received salvation. It’s a beautiful picture of the local church being the hope of the world. We love serving people in our own community and those we encounter elsewhere.
