Thanksgiving has come and gone, and Christmas is right around the corner. We know this time of year is filled with a lot of joy and time with family, but we also understand it can be a difficult time for some. But we are excited to share how we, as a church family, were able to bless and serve those in need through Thanksgiving Outreach this year.
This outreach is just one part of a greater initiative to address food insecurity in our community. Through intentional research and communication, we provided Thanksgiving meal boxes for Milestone families in need as well as families of students who are on free or reduced lunch at local Title 1 schools so they could have a special and delicious dinner this Thanksgiving. We also had many incredible volunteers who were the hands and feet of Jesus and were excited for the opportunity to show love to others.
Across all campuses, we saw 446 families served, which means approximately 2,200 individuals were fed through these Thanksgiving meal boxes! Milestone family, we are always blown away by your generosity and hearts for people. You are making a difference in this community.
