We fully believe in the next generation here at Milestone. We know that God has a purpose for their lives which is why we are intentional about creating opportunities for them to experience the presence of God in a distraction-free environment.
We recently had our annual spring retreat, BOTS, where we saw close to 1,100 middle school and high school students in attendance. There were so many amazing stories from these back-to-back weekends, but there is one that highlights the power of spiritual family immensely.
Jake, Luke, and Julia are triplets and a part of their high school’s Small Group. Tragically, their house caught on fire, which resulted in most of the second floor being burned down. This included their bedrooms along with their Bibles.
Their Small Group heard of this incident and immediately began pitching in their own money together to purchase each one their own personal, brand-new Bible with their name engraved on it. They surprised the triplets at the check-in line for BOTS so that they would have a Bible to use during the retreat.
This all happened before even arriving at the campsite! God continued to do amazing things in the lives of students who walked away feeling more hopeful, with a greater vision for their life, and a realization of God’s love for them.

We are constantly amazed and thankful for how God is moving in young people. And every single Wednesday at Elevate (our youth ministry for 6th-12th graders), there are opportunities to come connect, hear an awesome message, and experience a life-giving atmosphere.
