The first thing we can realize about God’s intention for relationships is that none of us were designed to do life alone. It’s in the first book of the Bible:
Genesis 2:18a (NIV)
The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone.”
And some of the most important relationships we’ll ever have are in our homes. We’ve each been placed in a family, and despite what you may see on social media, no family is perfect.
It’s beautiful, fun, complex, but it can also come with challenges. No other area in our lives has the potential to bring us the most joy or the most pain. They’re the people who witness our good and bad days, and everything in between.
