The beginning of the year is often associated with planning, resolutions, and reflection. We dream big and love the idea of starting the year off fresh. Most of us probably ask ourselves a question similar to: “What am I hoping will happen this year?” Maybe it’s that this would be the year of breakthrough in a situation you’ve been praying about, whether in your own life or a loved one’s life.
The great news is that God can move in the areas you’re praying about. This is why we prioritize prayer and fasting at the start of every year during a 3-day event called Prepare. It’s a powerful time of worship, prayer, and life-giving messages to activate our faith together as a church. But we didn’t just stop here, we continued to intentionally dedicate moments during weekend services to pray over the needs of the Milestone family throughout the month of January.
God never ceases to amaze us with the way He shows up and moves in the difficulties we’re facing, and we love to celebrate the prayers God has answered.
This year, we saw praise reports surrounding:
- Financial provision/Job opportunities
- Parents who were praying for their son or daughter to return to God
- Loved ones who gave their lives to Jesus
- Marriages restored
- Health challenges healed
- Children finding a life-giving group of friends Newfound purpose and meaning in life through Christ
As we begin a new month, this truth still stands: No matter what it is you are facing—God is able to mend, restore, heal, and provide beyond what we could ever ask, think, or imagine. We thank the Lord for all that He’s doing and what He will continue to do in 2025.
