We just had an incredible Next Gen Weekend and it was amazing to witness all that God is doing in the lives of young people.
This is one of my favorite weekends every year. My passion for the next generation started when I was 16 when my pastor let me preach for the first time. Then just a few short years later, I became a senior pastor at 21. So I fully believe you don’t have to wait to be great. It’s how I knew I wanted to be part of a church that helps young people get in the game for Christ, just like I had the opportunity to as a young man. At Milestone, this is who we are and who we will always be—a place where the next generation is raised up to reach their God-given destiny.
I’m so proud of all the students who led and served by hosting, greeting, leading worship, and so much more. I’m also thankful for our amazing Next Gen Team for sharing their heart, and for continuously investing in and developing students of all ages to do great things. They really do love and care for your child or student, and work diligently to set up atmospheres for them to encounter God.
What I’m really excited about, is that so far this year in our Next Gen environments, we’ve seen 650 decisions to follow Jesus and 280 decisions to get baptized, and I believe we’ll see dozens more make these commitments by the end of the year.

“When I prayed the prayer of salvation, I was overwhelmed with an unexplainable joy. I want to live for Jesus for the rest of my life!” – Dominic
“I felt God’s presence. I heard God say, ‘I’m proud of you.’ I feel so much lighter now!” – Sintamei
“I couldn’t wait to receive the Holy Spirit and accept God as my Lord and Savior. I have never been so happy in my life, and I’m glad I made the decision to wholeheartedly receive the Holy Spirit.” – Chloe
