Life Stories

When Nothing Else Worked

We’re so grateful for the genuine stories of life transformation happening all around us. This past weekend Taylor Mathews was water baptized and shared her incredible story of hope in the midst of struggle.

After sharing her story in service last weekend, Taylor has been so excited to hear the positive response and hopes it will continue to help people in the future. Here are a few thoughts from Taylor on her journey so far:

“Overcoming depression and anxiety isn’t easy. There is no rule book or cure and everyone takes different amounts of time to heal. I personally took almost 4 years till any progress or change even started. God changed my whole life and helped start those changes and I see him still working miracles in my life everyday. Nothing you’re facing is bigger than God. He will love you when you’re struggling and at your darkest and he will celebrate with you in times of happiness and joy.”

Thank you, Taylor, for your transparency and for allowing us to use your story. We can’t wait to see how God continues to use you and we’re so glad you are here!

Taylor’s story is a testimony to the life changing power of the gospel. Depression, anxiety, purposeless, nothing can’t hold back the healing God’s word provides.
