Waiting for breakthrough can be hard. The thoughts often enter our mind: “Can God really do this? Healing is for “holy” people, surely it’s not for me? Is God actually good?” The truth is, God sees us right where we are and cares about our pain, our challenges, and our questions. We worship a miracle-working God who is doing incredible things in our midst.

Broken and in desperate need of God’s power, Ed Kopal and Kathleen Tysinger each stepped out in a faith and asked God to move in their lives this year at Prepare. Take a look at these two powerful stories of healing:

“The week before Prepare 2019, my doctor had referred me to a hematologist with Texas Oncology because of a very low white blood cell count that had been going for awhile. On Monday night of Prepare 2019, we were sitting in the overflow outside and Pastor Jeff said the he had been praying and the Lord said to him that there were going to be people healed of blood disorders tonight. My wife, Suzan, and I knew he was talking right to us. At the close of service, we went to the Small Groups pastors and asked them for prayer. He anointed me with oil and prayed over me. I went to the hematologist the next day and my white blood cell count was normal. I knew I had received my healing and I stand on that today.”

“In April of 2015, I went from hiking, working out, and rocking a hard core career to being hospitalized with a mystery ailment that sapped away all my strength and energy and left me wrapped in pain. I was scared, sick, and wondering what hit me. Within a few months I was diagnosed with chronic illnesses that don’t have a cure, and are unwilling to cooperate with my plans, timeline, or agenda.

During all of this, I didn’t ask to be healed. Until January 9, the last night of Prepare. At the end of the message I felt such a pull by the Spirit to walk up to the front and ask for prayer for healing. As we prayed the pain faded away from my legs. Cane laid aside, no longer necessary. My energy was restored and strength returned. I haven’t had a pain flare since THAT DAY. I am so eager to see His purpose for healing in this time. I am ready to walk wherever He wants me to go.”

If you’re waiting on a breakthrough right now, be encouraged. God is still doing miracles today and He’s working on your behalf, even when you may not see it. These stories are just two of many of God working in the lives of people right here at Milestone Church. God hears you, knows your situation, and wants to move in your life beyond what you could even imagine.

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us…”  —Ephesians 3:20 NASB
